Amazing!

This is amazing, especially for those of us who have already done the Myers-Briggs test. I don’t know how this works, and it works in seconds. It made only one mistake here; all the Myers-Briggs and similar tests classify me as an Introvert, which is correct, but this one calls me an extrovert. Perhaps my writing is the one place in which I can exercise extrovert tendencies, while in all other areas of my life, I am an introvert. Try this!

I found it on Ruhas’s blog: http://ruhsa.wordpress.com

The analysis indicates that the author of https://marahm.wordpress.com is of the type:

ESFP – The Performers

ESFP – The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead-they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation – qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

(Here follows a diagram of brain activity while writing. It does correspond to other tests I’ve taken to indicate dominant brain activity. Sorry, I could not figure out how to copy the picture here.)

  1. the pic was actually a flash file thus not copyable. I took a screen-shot of the whole window and cropped the relevant portion to add to my blog. I often write in Windows Live Writer (instead of directly on wordpress) which makes it easier to edit, format, add pics etc

  2. mine:
The active and play-ful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

Is that true? Tell me as a reader 🙂

  4. I do believe those of us who keep (somewhat) regular contact, and enjoy each other’s blogs, have much in common by way of personality dynamics.

Why else would we bother to read and comment, wonder about the others, and look forward to new posts? After all, we’re not relatives, not co-workers, neighbors, or any other category of person who requires a civil relationship.

We do this purely voluntarily, because we enjoy the writing and we appreciate each other. Definitely siblings of a sort!

  5. I was typed like Shahi the Doers The active and play-ful type.
I agree with you Marahm, the only reason we came to form this blogging circle of friends is that we are alike in many ways.

  7. Marahm don’t you think it’s weird how it took few seconds to come up with the pysychological analysis? I used it on my blog and I’m a thinker, I knew that already. I also knew that you are definitely a friendly no confrontation person…
